I’m a Creative Director and Brand Photographer with 15 years of experience helping founders and creatives be seen at the level they’re stepping into. My clients come to me when they’ve outgrown basic, rushed shoots and want imagery that actually reflects their brand. This is about more than photos — it’s about showing up with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Let's Build Something Worth Remembering →

Oh hello. Fancy seeing you here.

You’ve found the “about me” page — where I try to summarize my whole life, a whole career, and a mildly unhinged creative brain into something that sounds both thoughtful… and at least a little put together.

for people who aren’t interested in blending in..

My favorite places I've traveled to : Italy, Portugal, Spain, Scotland, and Greece.

My Top favorite shows are Parenthood, Band of Brothers, GOT, Marvelous Mrs Maisel,, Friends, Outlander, Firely Lane, and Gilmore Girls.

I have 17 tattoos, and wear them proudly.

My pups name is Ponca. He was rescued from the side of the road in Ponca, Arkansas, hence his namesake.. He’s the goodest boy and a big lump of lovin as a 65lb lab/husky mix. He's rly cute.

Quick Facts About Rach

You'll usually find me with an emotional support water bottle nearby, a camera within reach, and at least three stories I probably could've summarized in fewer words.

Dallas is home these days, but I've never been very good at staying in one place. Whether it's a small-town coffee shop, a national park, or a city on the other side of the world, I'm endlessly curious about the people, places, and stories that make life feel rich.

'm an artist, writer, photographer, and lifelong collector of stories.

The kind of person who can lose an entire afternoon wandering through an antique store, strike up a conversation with a stranger, or spend hours studying an old photograph and wondering about the life that existed beyond the frame.

but you can call me Rach if you’d like.

I'm Rachel Meagan,

my history

I picked up my first camera at fifteen.
By eighteen, I was self-employed — building a business before I fully understood what that meant.

Over the next fifteen years, I documented hundreds of weddings, traveled across the country and internationally, and became someone people trusted with their most meaningful moments.

But what always mattered most to me wasn’t the event — it was the person.

Understanding who they are.
What they’ve built.
Where they’re headed next.

Where It Started

What Changed

Over time, something shifted.

The people I photographed began evolving — into founders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and leaders. And they came back, not just for milestones, but for support in how they showed up in the world.

That’s when it clicked:
This work has never been about photography alone.

It’s about identity.

Today, I work as a brand photographer and creative director for people who are building something meaningful — and want to be seen in a way that reflects it.

I often describe myself as an archivist.

Not because I work in a museum, but because I approach this work with a deep respect for story. Every session is a chapter — a reflection of who you are in this moment, before everything evolves again.

Because it always does.

What I Do Now

Outside of my work, I’m a traveler, a collector, and someone deeply inspired by art and history.

In 2023, I spent six months moving through Europe — studying architecture, paintings, and the kind of work that has lasted for generations.

It changed the way I see everything.

I’m not interested in trends.
I’m interested in creating something that holds up over time — something that still feels like you years from now.

What Shapes My Work

This chapter of my life and business has required a lot of rebuilding — personally and professionally.

But it’s also the most intentional it’s ever been.

What I’m building now is rooted in clarity, purpose, and a deep desire to create work that actually matters.

I work best with people who care —
about what they’re building, how they show up, and the life they’re creating.

Founders. Creatives. Entrepreneurs. People who are stepping into something new —
or finally owning what’s already there.

If you’ve made it this far, I’m guessing something resonated. My work isn’t for everyone — but for the right people, it feels like a no-brainer. If you’re looking for imagery that’s intentional, elevated, and actually feels like you, we’ll probably get along just fine.

The people I work with usually know when something clicks. They’re building something meaningful, and they’re ready for visuals that match that level — not rushed, not surface-level, but thoughtful, elevated, and designed to last. If you’re looking for a creative partner who will see your vision and help bring it to life, you’re in the right place.

So what do ya say??

Okay… So What
Do You Think?

Fair warning : If we work together, there's a very real chance I'll remember your dog's name, follow your business journey, and continue hyping you up for an unreasonable amount of time.

If you’re thinking about a brand shoot just stop and book Rachel IMMEDIATELY!

She didn’t just show up with a camera, she came with vision, vibes, and a sixth sense for what my brand needed. The entire experience was smooth, fun, and low-key felt like a creative therapy session. 🥹

And the photos? I’m OBSESSED (and so is everyone else. They feel like me, but sharper, stronger, and so on-brand it hurts (in the best way). I’ve never felt more confident showing up online.

"I’ve literally never looked at myself this way and these have been such a gift to me and how I view myself."

I cannot thank you enough - these are so beautiful and I know you put so much of yourself into bringing this to life. I cannot wait to see what they do from my business but more importantly from a purely personal perspective, I’ve literally never looked at myself this way and these have been such a gift to me and how I view myself. I can’t put a price on that, but you should definitely charge more… 😂

I've struggled for my WHOLE entrepreneurial life with putting my dreams on hold until I "feel good enough to get in front of a camera"...

This whole time I thought I would hate photos of me. As an ex professional photographer - l know better! But picking outfits was sending me into a panic every time I tried.

Now I'm like... I LOVE THESE PHOTOS. That is ME!! and I love HER!!
